Protective Glasses Welding Dragon LG-1000 Basic are designed to protect the eyes from harmful ultraviolet and laser radiation during metal cutting and welding with a laser. Additionally, they effectively shield the eyes from mechanical damage caused by small debris or metal shavings during mechanical processing of workpieces.

The model visually represents a closed-type optics equipped with a large panoramic lens. The frame is made from lightweight, durable plastic.

The lenses of these glasses are made of green polycarbonate with a special coating. This material was chosen due to its unique physical properties:

• minimal weight - the glasses are almost unnoticeable on the face during prolonged use.
• impact resistance - the material has exceptional resistance to mechanical damage.
• safety - even in the event of a critical impact, the polycarbonate lens only cracks without forming sharp fragments that could injure the eyes.

When selecting protective glasses for working with laser equipment, it is essential to consider the wavelength of the operating laser. Equally important is the optical density (international designation — OD), which reflects the light filter’s ability to block laser radiation. The safety level increases proportionally with this index.

For the LG-1000 Basic model, the visible light transmission coefficient (VLT) is 27%. This means that only 27% of the light passes through the green screen, while the remaining 73% is reliably blocked by the filter.
